EssenCiel is a creation of Niels Brants and girlfriend Romina Charels. Niels was the sous-chef of Thierry Theys for two years at the two-star restaurant Nuance in Duffel. As a young kitchen chef, he is one of the greatest "young potentials" of creative gastronomy. Romina also worked at Nuance before they decided to start their own restaurant at a young age.
